Achmea Impact Ventures is a corporate startup studio that creates startups from scratch and acts as your co-founder. You bring the product vision, and we provide a dedicated team, salary from day one, and funding up to €500K to validate, build, and take your venture to market.

We help you shape the MVP, validate problem-solution fit, and scale the team as the business grows, with equity up to 70% for founders.

What we do

Achmea Impact Ventures is a corporate startup studio - we create startups from scratch.

We become your co-founder.

• You bring a clear product idea that fits within one of our focus areas
• We support you with a salary, funding (up to €500K), and a dedicated team
• Together, we validate the problem, build the MVP, and take it to market
• If successful, we spin out the company with you in the lead, and with significant equity for you.

What you’ll do

• Validate your idea and user needs with support from our research team
• Shape the product roadmap and MVP strategy
• Build the MVP - hands-on or together with our in-house developers
• Test and iterate with early users
• Hire and lead your tech team as the venture grows
• Work alongside a commercial co-founder (if matched during the process)

• Hardware or physical product ventures

• Products reliant on 3rd-party IP

• Tools just for Achmea
• Vague behavioural ideas without a clear business model
• One-time-use or prevention-only models

Requirements

• You have a clear product idea, ideally with early user feedback or a prototype
• You’ve built and shipped digital products before
• You have a strong technical background and can lead architecture, dev, and iteration
• You want to build a company, not just write code
• You have a deep understanding of the problem you’re solving - not just the tech
• You’re fully committed - this is not a side project
• You’re open to sparring on the commercial side and shaping the business with us
