Job summary

Mars in Veghel offers a forecasting internship in the Forecasting Analyst Team. You will work with real data and apply statistical forecasting methods, including machine learning, to improve demand planning.

You will analyse data, test new techniques, and share insights through clear presentations. The role is hybrid (office and home) and requires travel to Veghel. Masters students, English fluent, available 4 days per week.

Internship allowance is €800–€900 per 4 weeks.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree and enrolled for the duration of the internship.
• Interest in statistical forecasting with familiarity with forecasting tools and systems.
• Fluent in English.
• Available for at least 4 days per week and able to travel to Veghel office.

Responsibilities

• Analyse forecasting data and uncover insights that help us plan smarter.
• Support ongoing projects and share findings through clear, engaging presentations.
• Research and test ways to optimize our statistical forecasting approach.
• Identify new opportunities to improve forecast accuracy for part of the Mars Wrigley portfolio.
