DeWarmte, based in the Netherlands, is seeking an App Developer (Flutter) to build and improve two Flutter apps for homeowners and installers. You will write code, improve quality, and ship features to iOS and Android, while ensuring security, maintainability and reliability.

The role combines app development with platform evolution and AI-assisted workflows. You’ll work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with product, backend, hardware and service teams to deliver robust, user-friendly apps and

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience building production mobile apps with Flutter and Dart.
• Experience releasing and maintaining apps on App Store and Google Play.
• Strong grasp of app architecture and state management (Riverpod/Bloc/Provider).
• Experience integrating REST APIs, authentication and push notifications.
• Track record from design to implementation and release to real-world use.
• Strong fundamentals: version control, automated testing, CI/CD, crash reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop the DeWarmte apps for homeowners and installers to use and control heat pumps.
• Build a strong app platform in production Dart/Flutter codebases for iOS and Android.
• Design, test and release new features from sketch to App Store and Google Play.
• Evolve app architecture, state management and shared components across both apps.
• Collaborate with backend developers on clean APIs and documentation.
• Improve automated testing, CI/CD, crash reporting, analytics and releases.
• Diagnose and fix issues spanning apps, Django backend and field devices.
• Utilize AI tools to support design, coding, testing, reviews and documentation.
