Job summary

TSA Safety Services, part of The Safety Network, is hiring a Fire Watcher to supervise safety during high-risk work. You will monitor activities, identify hazards and act to keep sites safe across industrial environments. A buddy system supports rapid training and onboarding.

Earn €15.25–€16.16 per hour with guaranteed hours, travel allowances and extensive benefits. Flexible 16–40 hour scheduling and fully paid training are provided to help you start quickly.

As aFire Watcher at TSA Safety Services, you play a key role in keeping people safely during high-risk work. You monitor activities, identify potential hazards and take action when something isn't safe.

You'll work across a wide range of industries, including(petro)chemical, industry, maritime, food, energy, infrastructure and water.

No experience? No problem!

Previous experience is a plus, butit's not essential. Even if you don't have the required certificates yet, you're welcome to apply.

Do you already have the right qualifications? Great, you can often start within just a few days.

Still need your certificates?We'll help you getting them.We start your training programme straight away. Most courses take onlyone to two weeks, so you can be ready to start work quickly. No long waiting periods of weeks or months.

What will you do?

As a Fire Watcher, you're an important part of the safety team on site. You make sure high-risk work is carried out safely and according to the agreed procedures.

Your responsibilities include:

• Monitoring high-risk during hot work activities;

• Checking that work is being carried out safely;

• Carrying out gas measurements;

• Checking work permits;

• Speaking up when you see unsafe behaviour or conditions;

• Taking immediate action when a situation becomes unsafe.

You’ll work at a variety of locations, such asfactories, power plants, ports, shipyards and other industrial sites.
