Heniff Transportation B.V. in Limburg zoekt een Financial Controller voor de financiële afdeling. In deze rol ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor de financiële administratie van de Europese entiteiten en zorg je voor betrouwbaarheid en efficiëntie in de financiële processen.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 3 jaar relevante ervaring in een vergelijkbare rol.
• Ervaring met BTW-aangiften en jaarafsluitingen.
• Vloeiend in het Nederlands en Engels.

Responsibilities

• Verantwoordelijk voor de financiële administratie van de Europese entiteiten.
• Zorgdragen voor betrouwbare en efficiënte financiële processen.
• Optimaal beheer van de financiële administratie, inclusief BTW-aangiften.

Financial Controller

Heniff Transportation Europe, een groeiende dienstverlener met diverse activiteiten in en voor de transportsector, zoekt een enthousiaste financial controller voor zijn financiële afdeling.

Responsibilities

• End‑responsible for the financial administration of Heniff’s European entities.
• Ensure financial processes are reliable, efficient and correct.
• Coordinate the transition of part of the administrative work to our American colleagues while maintaining the majority of activities in Born; strengthen collaboration between the Dutch and US teams.
• Oversee correct and timely financial administration, including VAT returns, accounts receivable, partial accounts payable, inventory management and monthly closings.
• Act as the first point of contact for colleagues and external stakeholders such as the accountant, banks and other financial partners.
• Provide both solicited and unsolicited financial advice to the Managing Director, supporting strategic and operational decision‑making.
• Ensure management information is available in a timely manner and financial performance is clearly presented.
• Optimize current systems and generate management information efficiently from those systems.

Qualifications

• HBO work and thinking level, preferably with a degree in accountancy.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of accounting programs and financial regulations.
• Experience with VAT submissions, year‑end closings and the preparation of financial statements.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to translate financial information into understandable insights for the organization.
• Excellent communication skills, independent working style, and effective stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English is required.
