Job summary

Medical Export Group in the Netherlands is seeking a Financial Controller to translate financial data into strategic insights that drive global healthcare impact. You will partner with management and the executive board to ensure reliable financial administration while guiding growth and international operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance and control.
• Experience with ERP systems and BI tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full financial administration including working capital.
• Prepare financial statements, tax filings, and coordinate audits.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reports, KPIs, and analyses.
• Translate data into actionable insights, business cases, and improvements.
• Advise management on financial impact and strategic decisions.
• Drive process optimization and digitalization initiatives.
• Monitor project budgets, risks, and post-calculations.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and compliance matters.

Your role

You ensure a reliable and timely financial administration, while going beyond the numbers. As a trusted partner to management and the executive board, you translate financial data into clear insights and strategic advice. Your work directly supports smarter decisions, sustainable growth, and greater global impact.

What you’ll do

• Manage the full financial administration, including working capital


• Prepare financial statements, tax filings, and coordinate audits


• Deliver monthly and quarterly reports, KPIs, and analyses


• Translate data into actionable insights, business cases, and improvements


• Advise management on financial impact and strategic decisions


• Drive process optimization and digitalization initiatives

Who you are

You are analytical, proactive, and comfortable switching between detail and strategy. You take ownership and know how to turn complex data into clear, meaningful insights.

You bring:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics


• 3–5 years of experience in finance & control


• Experience in an international or commercial environment (plus)


• Experience with ERP systems and BI tools


• Strong Dutch and English skills
