Job summary

Responsibilities

• Act as spokesperson for banks and manage payments & collections.
• Handle all accounting transactions (GL, AP, AR, etc.).
• Contribute to tax returns and payroll & insurances checks.
• Allocate costs to cost/profit centers and assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Ensure confidentiality of financial data and assist credit & collection activities.
• Prepare timely financial statements and deliver accurate data for closings.

Missions of the job:

The accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting operations, supporting the preparation of financial statements, managing payments and tax-related tasks, and maintaining financial compliance. This role contributes to cost control, reporting, and supports financial planning by delivering reliable financial data.

This position is reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Act as spokesperson for banks.
• Prepare payments and collections.
• Manage all accounting transactions (GL, AP, AR, …)
• Contribute to preparing tax returns.
• Check/assist payroll & insurances
• Allocate costs to cost/profit centers.
• Assist in the timely publication of financial statements.
• Help manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Ensure confidentiality of financial data.
• Supports credit & collection activities.
• Ensure timely execution of bank payments.Deliver accurate information for financial closings.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate accounting records.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.
• Report on tax information to consultants on time for tax return preparation.

Qualifications:

Hard Skills

• Proficiency in SAP FI (SAP CO is a plus).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and tax regulations.
• Experience in cost accounting and financial closings.
• Fluent in written English and good command of spoken English.
