Job summary

Eight Advisory in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior for its CFO Advisory practice to help clients optimize finance functions, processes and systems. You will work on assignments spanning performance management, dashboarding and reporting, strategic planning and transformation initiatives.

You will mentor junior colleagues, contribute to business development with an entrepreneurial mindset, and expand your network while delivering client engagements and by participating in company events for young

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance or Economics.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Finance, Audit or Consulting.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with appetite for challenging projects.
• Strong social and analytical skills with curiosity.
• Comfort communicating with C-level executives and stakeholders in English, French and/or Dutch.

We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our CFO Advisory team in Amsterdam as a Senior. you will advise our clients in optimizing their finance function, processes and systems. You will work on a variety of assignments, such as:

Performance Management, Dashboarding and Reporting

Strategic Planning / Budget

Transformation and Digitization of the Finance Function

Cash Flow and Working Capital improvement

Business Cases and Investor Readiness

You will contribute directly to the Eight Advisory success story:

You will mentor and train more junior colleagues

You will actively contribute to business development (both internal and external) with an entrepreneurial mindset

You will be encouraged to build your own network while delivering client engagements and by working on extracurricular projects such as networking events for young professionals or fun events for your peers

Job requirements

To ensure that we find the best candidate for this position, we expect our future Senior to have :

A Master’s degree in Finance or Economics

Between three to five year’s relevant professional experience in Finance, Audit or Consulting during which you have developed solid financial, accounting or operational skills (business and financial control, process improvement, digital tools etc.)

An eager team player with an appetite for knowledge

An entrepreneurial mindset and a hunger to be exposed to challenging projects

A good set of social and analytical skills and curious mindset

An eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast and ambitious environment

You are comfortable communicating with C-level executives and high-level stakeholders in English, French and/or Dutch
