Job summary

Groupe PSA in Amsterdam seeks a Finance Intern to support the Controlling team focused on the Used Car business. You’ll contribute to monthly closing, financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting while gaining hands-on insights into automotive finance in an international setting.

The role offers exposure to business analysis, variance review, and reporting automation, with collaboration across accounting and management teams. Start Oct/Nov 2026 for six months.

Qualifications

About the Role

As a Finance Intern, you will support the controlling team in monitoring the financial performance of the Used Car business. You will contribute to monthly closing activities, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting processes, and business analysis, helping management make informed decisions based on financial information.

This internship provides valuable exposure to automotive finance, business controlling, and financial analysis within a dynamic and international environment.

What is Controlling?

Controlling is a key finance function that supports business decision-making by planning, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting financial performance. Controllers act as business partners, ensuring that financial results are understood, risks and opportunities are identified, and corrective actions are implemented when necessary.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in month-end closing activities.

Profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Interest in finance, controlling, and the automotive industry.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively in an international environment (English is required).
