Job summary

Viatris Netherlands is hiring a Finance Analyst to administer customer discounts, rebates, and promotional agreements, validate claims, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts.

You will support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes, ensure internal controls, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and Finance to resolve issues while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting departments.
• Advanced Excel; ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics); Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Administer customer discount, rebate, and promotional agreements in line with approved commercial terms.
• Review, validate, and process customer discount and rebate claims.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to customer incentives.
• Reconcile discount, rebate, and customer deduction accounts regularly.
• Monitor settlement balances and ensure timely payments and recoveries.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, disputes, and invalid claims.
• Maintain records for all customer agreements and transactions.
• Prepare periodic reports on discount spend, rebate utilization, accrual balances, and outstanding claims.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, approval procedures, and financial controls.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve operational issues.
• Assist with audit requests by providing documentation and explanations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting accuracy.
• Any other ad-hoc task.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

Capabilities: Finance Expertise, Problem Solving, Professional Ethics & Integrity, Collaborator & Communicator, Analytical Aptitude & Data Skills, Adaptability & Resilience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting departments
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.), and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools
