Blue Fielders B.V. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair machinery for clients at home and abroad. You will diagnose issues, implement solutions, and ensure optimal operation across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Requires an MTS/HTS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC software.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English; other languages are a plus.

This is what you will do

As a Field Service Engineer, you are the indispensable link between technology and practice. Your work is essential to the success of our customers. These are your main tasks:

• Install, maintain and repair machinery and systems.
• Analyze and resolve malfunctions so that everything works flawlessly again.
• Work with various clients and industries, both national and international.
• Collaborate with a team of specialists and advise customers on technical solutions.

Every day is different, but to give you a good idea, we’d like to show you what a typical workday looks like!

What your day looks like

• 07:30 The Field Service Engineer starts the day by going over the schedule and checking tools and parts
• 08:00 Arrives at the customer, performs diagnostics and troubleshoots, performs maintenance or takes the first steps of a new installation.
• 12:30 Lunch break
• 13:00 Continuation of service work or the next step in installation
• 15:30 Brief consultation with the client on the progress and/or resolution of the problem.
• 16:30 Reports are updated and planning for the next day is reviewed
• 17:30 Back at hotel to get ready for a nice dinner with your colleagues

What do you bring?

We are looking for a driven technician with:

• A completed MTS/HTS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably with experience as a Field Service Engineer.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC software, as well as Office systems and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a good command of the Dutch and English languages. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• A flexible and proactive attitude: you are a team player and ready to travel, even for longer periods of time.
