Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Field Based Medical Advisor in Amsterdam to lead scientific engagement in Dermatology across PN/CSU and cross-Derm & AD. You will build enduring partnerships with healthcare professionals, align with Medical Plans, and provide balanced medical information while supporting evidence-generation and market access initiatives.

The role requires MD/PhD/MSc level education with strong Dutch and English communication skills, and prior field-based medical experience.

Qualifications

• MD, Pharmacist/PharmD, PhD or Master of Science degree.
• Experience as Medical Advisor or Medical Science Liaison in field-based roles.
• Dermatology or Immunology background is preferred but immunology experience is required.

Medical Advisors (FBM) build and develop enduring ‘win-win' relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, creating constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to disseminate scientific information and generate insights. They develop and execute the medical and scientific (non-promotional) strategy for dermatology (focus PN/CSU, but also including cross-Derm & AD) in the Netherlands fully aligned with the MCO medical and cross functional strategy. Medical Advisors are a trusted source of scientific and medical information for the Netherlands. As a team we focus on both our transformation and our people to be successful in achieving this ambition in the current external environment. **Main responsibilities:** * Develops and maintains trusted partnerships, through scientific engagement and exchange, with healthcare professionals and institutions in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment* Develops and executes the individual stakeholder engagement plans, aligned with the Medical Plan* Communicates the clinical value of the TA products to population-health/formulary decision makers (as applicable)* Provides high-quality, accurate, balanced and directed information to key customers and stakeholders in response to unsolicited requests for information, supports investigators in IIR submissions, management of local advisory boards* Generates high-value, actionable insights and proposes solutions* Lead local advisory boards, scientific projects and other relevant activities.
