Job summary

ING NL is seeking an Expert Lead Transformation to steer a team of 13 Change Experts and oversee large programs, ensuring delivery against plan and roadmap, while engaging senior stakeholders.

You will shape the change practice, develop capabilities, and align change initiatives with the ING NL strategy. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities for personal growth within a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Change and Transformation (delivery roles).
• Experience in Agile programme management in multi-disciplinary context (business, IT, Risk, and Finance).
• High resilience, the ability to deal with ambiguity and manage complexity.
• A strategic mindset and business consulting skills.
• Organisational sensitivity
• Ability to lead and develop a team of professionals with focus on continuous improvement (capabilities).
• A customer focus and the ability to build trust and engagement with key stakeholders.
• Excellent level of English
• Master's degree and relevant certifications (e.g. MSP, Agile PgM)

Job description

Join the Transformation Office NL as a key player in driving change! The Transformation Office NL is the driving force to execute the ING NL strategy and to become a scalable bank. The purpose of the Transformation Office NL is to ensure execution of transformation initiatives is at agreed upon standards, advise on the composition of the overall change portfolio and delivery capacity in line with the ING NL strategy, and drive key strategic and regulatory change initiatives at high quality.

We are seeking a highly motivated Expert Lead Transformation to join our organization and play a key role in shaping the success of critical initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible to hierarchically steer the team of Change Experts. As the senior of the team, you are leading by example by overseeing the implementation of large programs. You will be instrumental in fostering strong stakeholder engagement and collaborating with senior stakeholders (tribe leads, Ops leads, etc.).

What you will do::

• You are leading a team of 13 Change Experts and you are taking on strategic assignments (as practitioner)
• You ensure the proper set-up of change initiatives for successful delivery
• You ensure delivery on commitments (strategic milestones) according to plan & roadmap
• You bring transparency, manage dependencies and risks, facilitate decision making, deal with impediments, manage and engage stakeholders
• You are responsible for the development of capabilities of "T-shaped" change professionals. You do so by on-the-job training, coaching, best practice sharing and quality assurance
• You set the standard for your expertise area and are responsible for developing, innovating and safeguarding knowledge in the field of your expertise.
• You actively contribute to the development of the change practice
• You help business partners to be successful by assigning the right professionals for the job-to-the-done (taking into account the technical and behavioural competencies and profile);
• You drive collaboration in the NL organisation to ensure delivery on commitments, without relying on hierarchical structure or formal committees to do so;
• You strengthen the "way of working" for delivery while acting as role model in Orange Behaviours

What are we looking for:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Change and Transformation (in delivery roles)
