Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Vision in Groningen is seeking an Experienced Operator to work full-time in a sterile AMO environment, ensuring high-quality lens production. You will support your team, monitor machines, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to GMP and safety standards.

The role requires precise visual/microscopic inspection and data recording, plus willingness to work in shifts and complete location-specific trainings.

Qualifications

• MBO-3 diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 4 years of manufacturing experience; Med-Tech, Pharma or Food exposure is a plus.
• Strong accuracy in visual and microscopic inspection and recording of process data.
• Proficient Dutch (spoken and written); Groningen resident or own transport.
• Full-time, shift work; willing to obtain a VOC/Background check (VOG).
• Willingness to work with SAP and participate in international quality trainings.

Responsibilities

• Operate production processes across multiple stages (turning, milling, surface treatment, inspection).
• Monitor machines and process parameters to ensure quality and safety.
• Perform visual and microscopic inspections and document data.
• Follow GMP, hygiene and safety rules to maintain a clean environment.
• Collaborate with team to resolve process issues and drive improvements.
• Adhere to procedures and maintain consistent, defect-free production flow.

Bij Johnson & Johnson Vision in Groningen zoeken we een Experienced Operator die fulltime in ploegendienst wil werken en nauwkeurig bijdraagt aan het produceren van lenzen die patiënten wereldwijd beter laten zien. Je werkt in een steriele, gecontroleerde AMO‑omgeving, ondersteunt je team bij het waarborgen van kwaliteit en veiligheid en levert actief input voor continue verbetering!

Je zult verantwoordelijk zijn voor:

• Uitvoeren van productiehandelingen in meerdere procesfasen (draaien, frezen, oppervlaktebehandeling, inspectie) om hoogwaardige producten te leveren.
• Monitoren en bijsturen van machines en procesparameters om productkwaliteit en -veiligheid te waarborgen.
• Uitvoeren van visuele en microscopische controles en nauwkeurig vastleggen van product‑ en procesdata.
• Werken volgens GMP‑, hygiëne‑ en veiligheidsvoorschriften om een schone en gecontroleerde productieomgeving te behouden.
• Samenwerken met het team om procesproblemen op te lossen en verbeteringen door te voeren die de betrouwbaarheid verhogen.
• Naleven van procedures en bijdragen aan een consistente, foutarme productiestroom.

Kwalificaties en vereisten:

• Minimaal MBO‑3 diploma of aantoonbaar gelijkwaardig werkniveau.
• Minimaal 4 jaar werkervaring in een productieomgeving; ervaring in Med‑Tech, Pharma of Food is een pré.
• Zeer nauwkeurig en ervaren in visuele/microscopische inspectie en het registreren van procesdata.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands in woord en geschrift; woonachtig in de omgeving Groningen of eigen vervoer.
• Fulltime beschikbaar voor ploegendienst en in bezit van of bereid een Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG) aan te vragen.
• Bereidheid om met systemen zoals SAP te werken en deel te nemen aan trainingen in internationale kwaliteitsregels en procedures.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€34,200.00 - €50,600.00
