Job summary

Robin in the Netherlands is looking for experienced car mechanics for professional workshops. You will diagnose faults, perform maintenance and repairs, and work with vehicle computer systems using pro diagnostic equipment.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience, strong mechanical/electrical/electronic knowledge, and relevant vocational education. Independent work and a valid driving license are valued; owning a car is preferred (car rental possible €125/week).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a car mechanic.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and electronic knowledge.
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics and diagnostic equipment.
• Relevant vocational education/certification.
• Good technical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Driving license preferred but not mandatory.
• Own car preferred (car rental possible €125/week).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle faults.
• Perform maintenance and repairs.
• Work with vehicle computer and electronic systems.
• Use professional diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out routine servicing, including fluids, lubrication and component checks.
• Repair or replace defective components.
• Perform functional checks after repairs.
• Maintain workshop equipment and tools.
