Job summary

Hudsonville Ice Cream is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead hourly production on a designated shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food production or CPG.
• Previous supervisory experience leading teams to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop hourly production staff, setting clear expectations and coaching.
• Drive accountability through daily tiered meetings and action plans.
• Provide day-to-day direction, problem-solving support, and feedback.
• Resource planning: scheduling, time off, payroll, and end-of-shift reporting.
• Oversee day-to-day production lines, minimize downtime, maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Process Owner to monitor throughput and centerlines.
• Support line trials and product changeovers with smooth transitions.
• Participate in performance management and continuous improvement using Lean/TPM.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve SQDC outcomes.
