About the Role
We are urgently seeking an experienced EUS Architect to support a large-scale, multi‑entity modern workplace transformation program. The role requires strong architectural leadership across Microsoft 365 tenant migration, domain/identity transformation, device modernization, and site‑level execution.
You will work closely with identity, infra, workplace, and security teams to define the target architecture and guide execution across multiple regions and business units.
Key Responsibilities

Modern Management & Device Architecture
- Define and own the target‑state Modern Workplace architecture, covering:
- Endpoint management frameworks
- Provisioning standards
- Compliance baselines
- Application packaging & deployment models
- Architect the multi‑entity device migration strategy, including:
- Device re‑imaging and re‑provisioning
- Autopilot readiness and enrollment
- Conditional Access and compliance alignment
- Provide architectural guidance for site‑dependent transitions (printers, scanners, badge readers, and other network‑dependent devices).

Microsoft 365 Tenant Migration Architecture
- Exchange Online: mailbox moves, routing, coexistence, domain/SMTP strategy
- SharePoint Online: site architecture, mapping, restructuring, migration waves
- OneDrive: user mapping, redirection, data movement strategy
- Teams: team/channel design, chat handling, app integrations
- Define coexistence and segregation principles across multiple tenants during transition phases.

Domain & Identity Transformation
- Collaborate with domain and identity architects on:
- Domain consolidation models
- Directory integration approaches
- Identity and application readiness strategies
- Provide architectural input on identity transition milestones
- Ensure enforcement of segregation standards during transitional states.

Site Migration Architecture & Readiness
- Translate enterprise‑level architecture into actionable site‑level blueprints:
- Detailed migration runbooks
- Network readiness requirements
- Peripheral compatibility and transition plans
- Hypercare structure and local IT support models
- Support site teams through readiness assessments and technical oversight.

Cross‑Organizational Integration & Collaboration
- Work with technical leads and external implementation partners to align dependencies and execution sequencing.
- Lead design workshops, create HLDs and LLDs, and support solution validation.
- Ensure alignment with program governance, cross‑entity access policies, and architectural standards.

Security, Compliance & Data Governance
- Embed security and compliance baselines across all architectural designs (MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, device compliance).
- Align with security/compliance teams on:
- Data residency
- Retention
- Audit requirements
- Regulatory constraints
- Ensure all solutions comply with segregation, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

Documentation, Governance & Quality Assurance
- Own architectural documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, design decisions, patterns, and migration playbooks.
- Provide architectural QA during execution, ensuring adherence to standards and identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
- Manage architectural dependencies and prevent architectural debt from accumulating.

Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Communicate architectural decisions clearly to leadership, workplace teams, and site IT.
- Prepare executive summaries and input for migration governance bodies.
- Act as the architectural authority throughout all phases.
Required Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, including multi‑tenant consolidations.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Endpoint management & provisioning frameworks
- Azure AD / Entra ID and hybrid identity
- Exchange Online migration frameworks
- SharePoint & OneDrive migration tooling
- Teams coexistence & migration design
- Strong understanding of identity, security, conditional access, and compliance models.
- Experience with site‑level transitions (network, devices, peripherals).
Project & Architecture Skills
- 7+ years of experience in End User Services / Modern Workplace architecture.
- Strong ability to produce HLDs/LLDs and lead design workshops.
- Experience working with global teams and large implementation partners.
Soft Skills
- Strong communicator able to simplify complex architectural decisions.
- Comfortable in fast‑paced, high‑velocity transformation programs.
- Structured, proactive, and confident managing ambiguity.
Preferred
- Experience in M&A transitions or large-scale organizational change.
- Familiarity with domain consolidation programs.
- Experience in distributed, site‑based IT environments.
