Job summary

Balchem seeks a seasoned S&OP Manager Europe to lead the European S&OP process and manage a planning team across multiple functions. You will align commercial, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and finance to optimize demand, supply, capacity and inventory strategies.

This role influences decisions impacting service levels and working capital. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in S&OP or planning within manufacturing, with strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills, and experience leading

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
7+ years in S&OP or related planning roles within manufacturing.
Experience leading cross-functional planning processes and managing planning teams.
Strong understanding of demand planning, supply planning, inventory management and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

Lead and continuously improve the European S&OP process, aligning commercial and operational plans.
Drive demand, supply, inventory, and capacity planning across Balchem's European manufacturing network.
Facilitate cross-functional planning reviews and support executive decision-making.
Develop forecasting, reporting, and planning processes to improve visibility and outcomes.
Lead inventory strategies balancing customer service, efficiency and working capital.
Monitor supply chain performance and implement actions to mitigate risks and improve service levels.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Chain Planners.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning excellence and optimization.
