Job summary

Delta Electronics is seeking a motivated ESG Intern to support data management, reporting, and regulatory research within the EMEA ESG team in the Netherlands. You will collect and validate ESG data, assist with CSRD/ESRS and ISO compliance, and help share insights across cross-functional teams.

This internship offers hands-on experience in sustainability projects and international collaboration across regions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in sustainability, business, engineering, data analytics.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent English communication; Chinese is a plus.
• Keen to learn and work with stakeholders across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and consolidate ESG data from internal stakeholders.

We are seeking a motivated ESG Intern who is enthusiastic about working with both data and people to support our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

As part of the EMEA ESG team based in the Netherlands, you will contribute to a variety of sustainability projects across the EMEA region. Your key areas of involvement will include:

• ESG data management
• Corporate sustainability reporting
• EU sustainability and regulatory research
• EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) documentation and compliance support
• Employee training and engagement on circular economy topics

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with colleagues from different departments and countries, helping translate sustainability data and initiatives into meaningful business impact.

What You’ll Do

Work with Data

• Collect, validate, and consolidate ESG-related data from internal stakeholders
• Analyze sustainability data to identify trends and insightsSupport data quality checks and audit processes

Work with People

• Engage with colleagues across departments to gather and clarify ESG information
• Collaborate with different teams on sustainability initiatives
• Support meetings, presentations, and internal communication

Reporting & Compliance

• Assist in preparing sustainability reports and compliance documentation
• Help ensure compliance with standards such as CSRD/ESRS and ISO

Research & Improvement

• Monitor ESG trends, regulations, and best practices
• Support benchmarking against industry peers to identify improvement areas

Qualifications

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Passionate about sustainability, ESG, and responsible business practices
• Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets, with strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken ( + Chinese will be a plus)
• Proactive, organized, and eager to learn
• Able to work effectively with stakeholders from different departments and cultural backgrounds
