Job summary

Halliburton in Emmen, Netherlands is seeking an entry-level candidate to learn and perform cementing services. You will be involved in cement testing, bulk handling, blending, and site operations to support cementing projects.

You'll develop design and analysis skills through hands-on training, liaise with customers, and build relationships to identify additional opportunities while meeting project timelines.

Qualifications

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, learns to perform safe and efficient delivery of all cementing services, including cement testing, bulk and chemical handling, blending and sampling, equipment maintenance and testing, rigging-up, pre-job checks, job calculations, QA/QC checks, post-job checks, ticketing and rigging down at the rig site.
• Learns to develop cement designs meeting customer requirements and Halliburton's expectations using Halliburton systems and simulation software.
• Learns to determine lab testing requirements and testing conditions, job preparation, and interpreting well site data for post-job analysis.
• Learns to tailor solutions to meet customer requirements and Halliburton's commercial expectations, considering price and total cost to deliver.
• Learns to develop relationships with customers and communicate solutions to generate additional business opportunities.
• Learns to forecast chemical and casing equipment requirements so orders are placed in time for job dates.
• Learns how inventory is managed.
• Passing the Technical Training Program is required for promotion to the next position.
• This is an entry-level position.
