Job summary

Vanderlande Industries GmbH is seeking a SIEM Engineer for the Security Operations Center. You will design, operate, and optimize enterprise security monitoring platforms, onboard diverse log sources, and correlate events to detect threats.

You will build dashboards, tune alerts, and support incident response while ensuring compliance with NIS2 and ISO standards. The role offers a hybrid workplace in the Netherlands with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cybersecurity, SIEM engineering, or related role.
• Experience onboarding and managing large-scale log environments.
• Developed and tuned detections, correlations, and alerts.
• Mapped detections to MITRE ATT&CK and aligned with NIST/IR lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Onboard log sources from Windows, Linux, and network devices.
• Parse and normalize logs for searchability and consistency.
• Create and tune detections and alerts for threats.
• Build dashboards and reports for SOC teams and leadership.
• Support incident response and investigations with log analysis.
