Job summary

Chapman Tate Associates is seeking an experienced ERP Consultant to help manufacturing businesses optimize their ERP investments. You will work directly with clients, run workshops, map requirements, configure ERP systems, and support go-live across manufacturing, production, MRP, inventory and supply chain. Travel to customer sites and cross-training into Epicor Kinetic are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience implementing or consulting on an ERP system.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• Experience with Epicor/Kinetic would be highly desirable, but isn't essential.
• Alternatively, experience with other manufacturing ERP such as Infor, IFS, QAD, SYSPRO, Dynamics, Acumatica or similar.
• Previous ERP consultancy / client-facing experience.
• Ability to run workshops and engage with stakeholders at different levels.

ERP: Epicor Kinetic or similar Manufacturing ERP

Are you an experienced ERP Consultant who understands how manufacturing businesses really operate?

We’re looking for an ERP professional with experience of Epicor Kinetic or a similar manufacturing-focused ERP platform to join an established and growing consultancy.

You don’t necessarily need Epicor experience. If you have strong manufacturing ERP knowledge and have worked with systems such as Infor SyteLine/CSI, Infor LN, IFS, QAD, SYSPRO, Dynamics AX/D365, Acumatica or similar, we’d be interested in speaking with you.

The Role

Working directly with customers, you’ll help manufacturing businesses improve their processes and get more from their ERP investment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting ERP implementation and optimisation projects
• Running customer workshops and gathering business requirements
• Understanding existing manufacturing processes and identifying improvements
• Translating requirements into effective ERP solutions
• Configuring and implementing ERP functionality
• Working across areas such as Manufacturing, Production, MRP, Planning, Inventory, Supply Chain and Distribution
• Supporting BOMs, routings, scheduling and shop-floor processes
• Testing solutions and supporting users through go-live
• Delivering customer training and knowledge transfer
• Building strong relationships with customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Working alongside technical consultants, developers and project managers

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience implementing or consulting on an ERP system
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes
• Experience with Epicor/Kinetic would be highly desirable, but isn't essential
• Alternatively, experience with another manufacturing ERP such as Infor, IFS, QAD, SYSPRO, Dynamics, Acumatica or similar
• Previous ERP consultancy / client-facing experience
• The confidence to run workshops and engage with stakeholders at different levels
• Strong requirements-gathering and process-mapping skills
• The ability to understand a customer’s problem and translate it into a practical ERP solution
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required
