Job summary

TenneT zoekt een Enterprise Architect (all genders) die strategische architectuur richting geeft aan onze digitale transformatie vanuit Arnhem. Je vertaal​t de bedrijfsstrategie naar doelarchitecturen en roadmaps, werkt nauw samen met leiders en architecten en stuurt complexe beslissingen rondom datacenters en hosting omgevingen pragmatisch en veerkrachtig aan.

Je beïnvloedt senior stakeholders, ontwikkelt transformatieroadmaps en bewaakt de aansluiting tussen business en IT.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 10 jaar ervaring in enterprise architecture of een vergelijkbare strategische architectuurrol binnen grote, complexe organisaties.
• Sterke advies-, consultatieve of leiderschapsachtergrond en in staat om architectuur in een strategische bedrijfscontext te positioneren.
• Aantoonbare ervaring in adviseren van senior stakeholders, het nabij houden van tegenstrijdige belangen en het bouwen van alignment bij moeilijke onderwerpen.
• Ervaring met het ontwikkelen van technologische strategieën, doelaanpassingen en transformatieroadmaps.
• Uitgebreide kennis van grootschalige datacenters en hosting-omgevingen, bij voorkeur inclusief transformatie, modernisatie, sourcing, migratie, privé-cloud of infrastructuurtechnologieën.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels; Nederlandse taalvaardigheid is een voordeel.

Responsibilities

• Dien als trusted advisor aan het senior leadership over enterprise architecture en strategische technologiekeuzes.
• Ontwikkel en onderhoud target-architecturen en transformatieroadmaps.
• Lever architectonische richting voor grootschalige datacenter- en hostingomgevingen.
• Verbind business-, technologie- en operationele perspectieven over domeinen heen.
• Creëer afstemming rond complexe keuzes en ondersteun de organisatie bij het bereiken van doeltoestanden.

Jouw rol

As Enterprise Architect (all genders), you translate TenneT’s strategy into coherent architecture direction, target architectures and roadmaps. In close collaboration with senior stakeholders and fellow architects, you guide strategic decisions and help TenneT develop its complex technology landscape in a pragmatic, sustainable and resilient way.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on enterprise architecture and strategic technology decisions.
• Develop and maintain target architectures and transformation roadmaps.
• Provide architectural direction for large-scale datacenter and hosting environments.
• Connect business, technology and operational perspectives across domains.
• Build alignment around complex choices and support the organisation in moving towards agreed target states.

Waar kom je terecht

Digital & Technology Transformation (DTT) is TenneT’s digital backbone. The division makes smart use of data, technology, and AI to optimise grid utilisation and strengthen decision-making. DTT delivers integrated and secure digital, technology, and data services that contribute to efficiency, innovation, safety, and compliance. The division supports business processes and workplaces with IT, develops data and integration platforms, and manages our infrastructure and cybersecurity. In this way, DTT accelerates TenneT’s transformation into a digital TSO.

Jouw profiel & achtergrond

• You have at least 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture or a comparable strategic architecture role within large, complex organisations.
• You have a strong consultancy, advisory or leadership background and can position architecture in a strategic business context.
• You have proven experience advising senior stakeholders, navigating competing interests and building alignment on difficult topics.
• You have experience developing technology strategies, target architectures and transformation roadmaps.
• You bring substantial knowledge of large-scale datacenter and hosting environments, ideally including transformation, modernisation, sourcing, migration, private cloud or infrastructure technologies.
• You communicate and present excellently in English, operate effectively in complex and ambiguous environments, and influence others without relying on formal authority. Fluency in Dutch is an advantage.

We offer you:

• A permanent contract with a two-month probation period, based on a 40-hour workweek.
• A salary in Scale 18 ranging up to €11.156,- gross per month, including 8% holiday allowance, excluding a year-end bonus.
• A solid pension plan through ABP, with TenneT covering 70% of your pension contribution.
• 30 vacation days per year.

All employment conditions stated above apply to a full-time position unless otherwise specified.

Screening

TenneT has the maatschappelijke taak om Nederland 24/7 aan te houden. We moeten risico’s op verstoringen zoveel mogelijk uitsluiten. Daarom vragen we van elke medewerker minimaal een Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag. Voor sommige functies is een VOG niet afdoende en volgt een uitvoerige screening, zoals een AIVD. Jij kan pas van start gaan wanneer de screening(s) succesvol zijn afgerond.
