Job summary

Uitzendbureau zoekt een ervaren TIG-lasser voor een productieomgeving in Breda-gebied. Je behandelt een volledige lascyclus van voorbereiding tot inspectie, met focus op kwaliteit en veiligheid. Je werkt aan kleine series en one-offs op basis van tekeningen en procedures.

De functie vereist TIG Level 3 en leesvaardigheid in technische tekeningen, met goede Engelse communicatie en teamwork. Er is een twee-ploegendienst en arbeidvoorwaarden volgens CAO Metalektro.

Qualifications

• Je hebt een middelbare technische opleiding of vergelijkbare technische achtergrond.
• Je hebt TIG Level 3 certificatie of een gelijkwaardig kwalificatie.
• Je hebt ervaring met TIG-lassen en las technieken.
• Je kunt technische tekeningen lezen en interpreteren.

Responsibilities

• Voorbereiden en lassen volgens voorschriften en tekeningen, mainly roestvrij staal.
• Deelnemen aan opzetten, afstellen en controleren van de lassen.
• Productieplanning volgen en zorgen voor tijdige oplevering van complexe lasconstructies.
• Onderhoud aan gereedschappen en apparatuur uitvoeren en bij storing escaleren.
• Samenwerken met collega's en kennis delen, knelpunten melden bij Team Leader.
• Bijdragen aan procesverbeteringen en naleving van veiligheids- en kwaliteitsregels.

Wat je gaat doen

As a TIG Welder, you are responsible for the entire welding process, from preparation and setting up the equipment to welding, finishing and inspecting the final product. You will mainly work on one-off products and small series, with a strong focus on quality, safety and productivity.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparation and welding: You select, process and weld components and semi-finished products, mainly made of stainless steel. You work according to the prescribed welding techniques, technical drawings and quality standards;
• Set-up and inspection: You set up and calibrate welding equipment according to the applicable procedures. You inspect components for presence, dimensions and quality and correct any deviations or welding defects;
• Production and planning: You work according to established delivery times and standard times and ensure that complex welded structures are completed correctly and on time;
• Maintenance and internal transport: You perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment. You discuss more significant technical issues with the Team Leader. When required, you also safely operate certified industrial equipment, such as cranes;
• Collaboration and knowledge sharing: You work closely with colleagues and actively share relevant knowledge and best practices. You escal… issues related to capacity, delivery times or technical matters to the Team Leader or Supervisor;
• Improvement and safety: You contribute ideas for improvements to the production process, update process descriptions where necessary and always work in accordance with applicable safety, quality and environmental regulations.

• A gross monthly salary between €4.500 and €5.000, based 40 hours per week, including ADV allowance and shift allowance;
• 27 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance;
• €0.23 net per kilometre travel allowance;

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 06:00-15:00 or 15:00-00:00;
• Friday: 06:00-11:30 or 11:30-17:00.

Functie-eisen

For this position, we are looking for a skilled TIG Welder who works accurately, has strong technical insight and takes responsibility for the quality of their own work.

• You have completed a secondary-level technical education or have a comparable technical background;
• You have TIG Level 3 certification or an equivalent qualification;
• You have experience with TIG welding and welding techniques;
• You can read and interpret technical drawings;
• You work accurately and have a strong eye for quality and dimensional accuracy;
• You work well as part of a team and in a multicultural working environment;
• You are solution-oriented and able to analyse technical problems independently;
• You have a very good command of the English language (Dutch is a big plus);
• You are reliable, punctual and focused on achieving agreed results.

The company develops machines and systems that enable food producers worldwide to organise their production more efficiently, sustainably and to a high standard of quality. The Supply Chain organisation includes areas such as production, assembly and procurement. Machines and components are produced, assembled and tested at various production sites for customers and internal production organisations worldwide.

At the location in the Breda area, you will work in a technically specialised production environment.
