Job summary

Jobster zoekt een Technician SMART in de Nijmegen-regio (Gelderland/Wijchen) om samen met collega’s aan volledige trailers te werken. Je volgt duidelijke instructies en leert stap voor stap hoe onderdelen gemonteerd en aangesloten worden.

Tijdens de inwerkperiode krijg je veel ondersteuning en ontwikkel je je technische vaardigheden verder. Er is ruimte voor doorgroei en een mogelijk vast contract bij goede prestaties.

Qualifications

• Interest in technology en praktische, hands-on werk.
• Technische opleiding of vakopleiding.
• Ervaring in een technische omgeving (bv. automotive, assemblage, werktuigbouw) is een pré.
• Ook handig met gereedschap en oog voor kwaliteit.
• Reading van werkopdrachten en tekeningen of bereidheid om dit te leren.
• Kennis van hydrauliek, pneumatiek en/of elektrische systemen is een plus.
• Nauwkeurig werken en kwaliteitsgericht.
• Fysiek in staat en veilig werken.
• Teamplayer en flexibel.
• Hands-on, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assembleren van diverse traileronderdelen volgens werkinstructies.
• Installeren van hydraulische en pneumatische componenten.
• Verbinding van elektrische bedrading en componenten.
• Montage van leidingwerk, fittingen en andere onderdelen.
• Installeren van assen en remsystemen.
• Bouwen van houten vloeren.
• Werken aan verschillende delen van het chassis.
• Gebruik van handgereedschap en technische apparatuur.
• Lezen en volgen van technische tekeningen en instructies.
• Toezicht houden op eigen werk en kwaliteit waarborgen.
• Samenwerken met collega’s op verschillende werkstations.
• Tijdens inwerkperiode veel ondersteuning van ervaren collega’s.

As a technician SMART, you will work together with your colleagues to assemble complete trailers. The department produces different types of trailers. You will work according to clear work instructions and learn step by step how to assemble and connect various components.

As a technician SMART, you will work together with your colleagues to assemble complete trailers. The department produces different types of trailers. You will work according to clear work instructions and learn step by step how to assemble and connect various components.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and assembling various trailer components;
• Installing hydraulic and pneumatic components;
• Connecting electrical wiring and electrical components;
• Installing pipework, fittings and other technical components;
• Installing axles and brake system components;
• Making and installing wooden floors;
• Working on various parts of the chassis;
• Using hand tools and other technical equipment;
• Reading and following technical drawings, diagrams and work instructions;
• Checking your own work and ensuring a high-quality finished product;
• Working together with colleagues at different workstations;

A trailer goes through several stages within the department. This allows you to learn about different parts of the production process and gradually gain a better understanding of how a complete trailer is built.

You do not need to know everything from day one. During your initial training period, you will receive plenty of support from experienced colleagues. You will learn the job in practice and have the opportunity to continuously develop your technical skills.
