Job summary

Start People biedt een fulltime positie als Reach Truck Driver bij een gespecialiseerde tegelgroothandel in Bemmel. Je werkt in een modern logistiek centrum en zorgt dat goederen veilig worden opgeslagen en orders op tijd verzendklaar zijn.

Je werkt zelfstandig, maar ondersteunt collega’s waar nodig. Vereisten: logistieke ervaring, heftruck- en reachtruckcertificaat, nauwkeurige werkhouding en een teamgerichte instelling. Taalvaardigheid in Nederlands of Engels is gewenst.

Responsibilities

• Veilig en nauwkeurig verplaatsen van goederen met de reach truck tot 7 meter hoogte.
• Pallets en andere goederen laden en lossen.
• Goederen op de juiste locaties opslaan.
• Orders picking en gereedmaken voor verzending.
• Bedienen van heftrucks, combitrucks en EPT’s.
• Magazijn schoon, georganiseerd en veilig houden.
• Samenwerken met collega’s om dagelijkse operatie soepel te laten verlopen.

Job description

Wat je gaat doen

As a Reach Truck Driver, you make sure goods are stored safely and efficiently and that orders are ready for shipment on time. You work independently on your own tasks while also supporting your colleagues when necessary.

Your responsibilities include:

• Safely and accurately moving goods with the reach truck, up to 7 metres high;
• Loading and unloading pallets and other goods;
• Storing goods in the correct locations;
• Picking orders and preparing them for shipment;
• Operating forklifts, combitrucks and electric pallet trucks (EPTs);
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organized and safe;
• Working closely with colleagues to keep daily warehouse operations running smoothly.

Wat we je bieden

You will work in a clean and modern warehouse with equipment designed to help you work safely and efficiently.

• €2.650 – €3.200 gross per month, including ADV;
• A full-time position of 38–40 hours per week;
• Regular day shifts;
• 37 days off per year: 25 vacation days + 12 additional leave days;
• €0,23 travel allowance per kilometre, up to a maximum of 25 km one way;
• An employee discount on building materials for your own projects.

Functie-eisen

You have experience in logistics and understand the importance of working safely and accurately. You are comfortable working independently, but are also willing to help your colleagues when needed.

You also have:

• Experience working in a warehouse;
• A valid forklift and reach truck certificate;
• A careful and accurate approach to your work;
• The ability to keep an overview of your tasks;
• A team-oriented attitude;
• Good command of Dutch or English.

Over het bedrijf

You will work for a specialized tile wholesaler in Bemmel. From this modern logistics centre, ceramic wall and floor tiles are delivered every day to business customers, ranging from major retailers to new-build construction projects.
