Job summary

Start People werft een logistiek medewerker aan in Bemmel, met vaste dagdienst en een informele werksfeer. De functie vereist ervaring in logistiek en certificaten voor heftruck en reach truck, met aandacht voor veiligheid en organisatie.

Werken bij een grote tile-groothandel in Bemmel biedt ruimte voor groei en teamwork. De rol is 38–40 uur per week, volledig in dagdienst, met een salaris van €2.650–€2.800 bruto per maand inclusief ADV.

Qualifications

• Ervaring in een logistieke omgeving.
• Geldig heftruck- en reach truckcertificaat.
• Nauwkeurig, veilig en georganiseerd kunnen werken.
• Flexibel en bereid om collega's waar nodig te ondersteunen.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands of Engels.

Responsibilities

• Bedienen van een reachtruck tot circa 7 meter hoogte, en andere hefmiddelen zoals heftruck, combitruck en EPT.
• Pallets en goederen laden/ lossen, orders picken en gereed maken voor verzending.
• Goederenontvangst controleren en op juiste wijze opslaan in het magazijn.
• Ondersteunen van verschillende afdelingen voor afwisselend werk.
• Zorgdragen voor een veilige, schone en gevarige werkplek samen met collega's.

Are you an experienced logistics employee who enjoys working in a modern and dynamic environment? In this spacious warehouse in Bemmel, you will help ensure that the logistics process runs smoothly. With fixed daytime working hours and an informal working atmosphere, this is a job where you will stay active, take responsibility, and work together with a motivated team.

Your responsibilities:

• Operating a reach truck up to approximately 7 metres in height, as well as working with a forklift, combitruck, and EPT;
• Loading and unloading pallets and goods, picking orders, and preparing them for shipment;
• Checking incoming goods and storing them correctly in the warehouse;
• Supporting different departments to add variety to your work;
• Ensuring a safe, tidy, and well-organised workplace together with your colleagues.

• A gross monthly salary of €2,650–€2,800, including ADV, based on a 40-hour working week;

• Experience in a logistics environment;
• Valid forklift and reach truck certificates;
• Able to work accurately, safely, and in an organised manner;
• Flexible and willing to support colleagues in other areas when needed;
• Good command of either Dutch or English.

Over het bedrijf

You will be working for the largest specialised tile wholesaler in the Netherlands. From its modern and recently expanded warehouse in Bemmel, the company delivers ceramic wall and floor tiles every day to both small and large business customers throughout the Netherlands.

The products shipped from this warehouse can be found at well-known retailers such as Albert Heijn, Action, and Plus, as well as in major retail and new-build construction projects. Approximately 400 pallets are processed at this location every day.

Due to rapid growth, the company moved from Andelst to a larger, new and modern logistics centre in Bemmel in 2020. The warehouse is spacious, clean, and equipped with modern machinery and various lifting aids to minimise physically demanding work as much as possible.

The team has an informal and down-to-earth working atmosphere. You will be given a high level of responsibility, communication lines are short, and colleagues are always ready to support one another. Safety and maintaining a clean and organised workplace are always the highest priorities within the organisatie.
