Job summary

AXIS Career is seeking an Operator to join a small, cooperative production team in the Nijmegen area. You will operate and tune various machines, change over lines for different orders, and perform quality checks with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

You will be trained by experienced colleagues and have the opportunity to develop technical skills in a dynamic 3-shift environment, with emphasis on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• MBO-level education or equivalent.
• Experience as an operator or process operator is preferred.
• Available to work in a 3-shift system.
• Good command of English; Dutch is a plus.
• Work accurately with a strong focus on quality and safety.
• Strong communication skills and team player.
• Willing to learn and develop technical skills.
• Residence in Nijmegen area with own transport.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up and adjust production machines.
• Change over and set up lines for different orders.
• Perform quality checks and record measurements.
• Carry out minor preventive maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Ensure continuous material supply and keep line stocked.
• Identify improvements and suggest ideas to optimize production.
• Work safely and keep workplace clean and organized.
• Collaborate with colleagues and team leaders to meet targets.
