Job summary

Bosal in Vianen, the Netherlands, seeks an experienced Manager Maintenance & Engineering to lead the Maintenance & Engineering department, providing both operational leadership and strategic direction for the site’s manufacturing operations.

You will drive industrialization, maintain engineering standards, manage budgets, and build capabilities to deliver high-quality fuel tank production with a focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration within the plant.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of engineering/manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong technical expertise in engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Proven leadership to develop and inspire technical teams.
• Experience with component manufacturing or complex systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Maintenance & Engineering department and provide operational leadership.
• Drive industrialization of processes and implement advanced technologies.
• Ensure products and processes meet customer quality standards and requirements.
• Own and manage departmental budgets and resources.
• Represent the plant in cross-functional programs and projects.
• Foster continuous improvement of layouts and manufacturing flows.
• Standardize engineering standards across departments and ensure compliance.
• Develop organizational engineering capabilities for future products and markets.
• Promote open communication and employee engagement within the team.
