Job summary

Samba is a media intelligence company based in Amsterdam seeking a Junior Data Scientist to own end-to-end data science projects, from problem scoping to production deployment. You will work autonomously with deep expertise in core domains and collaborate with product and engineering to deliver scalable ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data science projects from scoping to production deployment.
• Make sound methodological decisions with clear documentation.
• Lead design for initiatives with well-scoped user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Implement advanced ML/AI workflows including embedding and semantic matching.
• Develop reusable tools and conduct code reviews to raise standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations.
