Job summary

IVC Evidensia in Groningen is seeking an Emergency & Inpatient Care Veterinarian to triage, stabilise and treat acutely ill pets in our new Het Noorden hospital. The role requires a veterinary degree, registration, 5+ years in emergency/inpatient care or progression, and fluency in Dutch and/or English.

Qualifications

• Must hold a veterinary degree and be registered in the veterinary register.
• At least five years of experience as an emergency and inpatient care veterinarian, or readiness to progress from clinic to hospital.
• Available to work 32 hours per week and across day, evening, night and weekend shifts.
• Good command of Dutch and/or English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Triaging, receiving, stabilising and treating emergency/inpatient patients.
• Develop treatment plans and closely monitor patient progress.
• Contribute to development and improvement of emergency/inpatient care protocols.
