Job summary

ThoughtLabs Belgium is seeking an hands-on electrical technician for our projects in the Netherlands. The role covers installation, maintenance, and commissioning of systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors, with emphasis on reliability and clear communication with clients.

You will troubleshoot malfunctions, perform repairs, and expand complete systems including electrical, lighting, intercom, data, and charging stations.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: electrical engineering level 3 or higher.
• At least 2 years relevant work experience.
• Driver's license and a VCA diploma.
• Dutch language proficiency; no 9-to-5 mentality.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Inspect and commission installations.
• Install/expand complete systems: electrical, lighting, intercom, data, charging stations, fire alarm.
• Provide clear technical explanations to customers and colleagues.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.

We specialize in electrical installations and maintenance in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. This includes lighting and power installations, as well as infrastructure, data networks, fire alarm, evacuation, and security systems, sound systems, solar panel AC sections, charging stations, etc.

• Minimum completed education in electrical engineering level 3 or higher
• You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience;
• You are in possession of a driver's license, a VCA diploma (basic or VOL);
• No 9 to 5 mentality;
• Good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written;
• You have knowledge of various intrusion systems and fire alarm systems;

Your responsibilities will consist of:

• Resolving technical malfunctions and performing repairs;
