Job summary

Kinetron BV, part of the ASSA ABLOY group, seeks an Electronics Test Engineer (Mid or Senior) to define and implement the next generation of digital door locks. You will be involved from concept through production to end of life, collaborating with design engineers to ensure high quality and robust systems for connected devices across Europe.

The role requires testing expertise, experience with certification processes, and readiness to travel within the EU.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience in electronic engineering/testing.
• Experience in certification testing, working with standards and norms.
• Proficient written and verbal communication in English.
• Able to travel across EU and other ASSA ABLOY Regions.
• Programming experience in Python or similar is a beneficial experience.
• Desirable: RF experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with design engineers from concept to production to ensure the product quality throughout the whole life span.
• Develop and design test plans and procedures to validate electronic components and systems.
• Set up and conduct tests according to specifications and standards.
• Analyse test results to identify performance trends, failures, or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with design engineers and other stakeholders based on test outcomes.
• Manage/participate in certification of the product.

What you would do as Electronics Test Engineer

You will play a vital role defining and implementing next generation of digital door locks. You will be engaged from the conception phase of new products, over the production until the end of life of the product.

Responsibilities
