Job summary

Swire Renewable Energy is seeking electrical technicians to join upcoming onshore wind projects across Europe, including Denmark pre-assembly and Netherlands retrofit campaigns.

You will install, connect, and test wind turbine electrical systems, perform maintenance, and support commissioning while following safety standards and LOTO procedures. English communication and EU work rights are required. This role involves factory and site work with travel, teamwork, and strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of electrical experience in the wind industry, preferably Vestas
• Full GWO BST + BTT Electrical & Hydraulic
• LOTO 2 (Electrical) & Electrical Safety (Ordinary/Qualified Person)
• Safe Torque & Tension
• Lift User (including Avanti systems)
• Forklift / Telehandler
• ActSafe Power Ascender & Stop the Drop
• Valid passport & driver’s license, with the right to work in the EU
• Good English communication skills (verbal & written)
• GWO Enhanced First Aid
• GWO Advanced Rescue Training
• GWO BTT Full: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Bolting & Installation
• GWO Slinger Signaller
• Fire Prevention Awareness
• Tool Tethering
• ESQ and WTSR MMI & Core
• Valid electrical certification

Responsibilities

• Install, connect, and route electrical components of wind turbines, including cables, cabinets, sensors, transformers, and control systems
• Perform electrical assembly, retrofit, pre-assembly, and installation activities in factory and site environments
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, testing, and verification of electrical systems according to project procedures and safety standards
• Carry out maintenance, replacement, and repair of electrical components when required
• Support commissioning and functional checks to ensure proper turbine operation
• Follow LOTO, electrical safety, and quality procedures at all times
• Collaborate with supervisors, coordinators, and operational teams to complete tasks safely and within project deadlines
• Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards in dynamic working environments
