Job summary

PRS is seeking Electrical/Mechanical Shift Technicians for a large, state-of-the-art Data Centre in Northern Holland. You will maintain critical electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring uninterrupted power and peak performance in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical/mechanical engineering in critical environments such as data centres, hospitals or industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, UPS systems and HVAC.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications (e.g., HV/LV Switching).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• High Voltage (HV) switching and management.
• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks for HVAC and facilities.
• Work on LV and HV electrical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in a high-pressure environment.

Position Overview:

As an Electrical/Mechanical Shift Technicians, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the operational integrity of a cutting-edge data centre. Working in a mission-critical environment, you'll ensure uninterrupted power and optimal performance through expert maintenance, fault diagnosis, and adherence to strict operational standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• High Voltage (HV) Switching and management.
• Performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks throughout the facilities - HVAC.
• Working on Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) electrical systems.
• Rapidly diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure all systems meet operational standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in electrical/mechanical engineering, preferably in critical environments such as data centres, hospitals, or industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, UPS systems, emergency power systems and HVAC
• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications (e.g., HV/LV Switching).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
