Job summary

Motus is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop electrical hardware for automated machines in the Netherlands, from concept to detailed design. You will leverage Eplan expertise to create modular, reusable electrical designs and document them meticulously.

You will collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration, while improving existing solutions and adhering to safety and quality standards. Relocation support is provided for international candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• At least three years hands-on electrical hardware engineering experience in machine development.
• Proven Eplan expertise with ability to independently create complete electrical designs.
• Experience designing modular machine systems and reusable electrical solutions preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, machine control hardware and industrial standards.
• Fluency in English; willingness to learn Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical hardware designs for machines from concept to detailed engineering.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics and documentation in Eplan.
• Translate requirements into practical electrical designs and modular solutions.
• Coordinate interfaces with mechanical and software engineers.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards and quality requirements.
• Support assembly, testing and validation by resolving electrical issues.
• Maintain design documentation and manage engineering changes.
