Jobster in Groningen seeks an Electrical Engineer Data Center to maintain critical electrical installations, such as UPS, distribution boards and backup power. You will document every action and participate in commissioning new systems on site.
Entry salary is €3.300 monthly, rising to €4.100 with experience, with potential to become Senior at €4.900. The role requires O&M and precise, reliable work in large data centers.
The largest data centers in the Netherlands are in the Eemshaven. You keep the power they rely on running.
As an Electrical Engineer Data Center you work on the critical electrical installations in the Eemshaven: UPS systems, standby generators, distribution boards and the measurement and control equipment that goes with them. You carry out preventive maintenance, inspect installations, take measurements, resolve faults and record every action, because in these buildings the documentation weighs as much as the work. You are there when the manufacturer commissions new systems, so you see up close how a site is built up. If you come from commercial and industrial buildings and UPS is new to you, you learn those systems here on the installation itself. The work asks for precision and reliability: in these buildings the power must never fail.
Salary €3.300 to €4.100 per month
In this role you earn €3.300 at entry, rising to €4.100 as an experienced engineer. Growing on to Senior can later reach €4.900, but you are applying now for the Data Center Engineer role.
“I maintain the power supply the whole Eemshaven runs on. If something fails, we are there. No day is the same.”
