Job description

Imagine the force of a flight simulator or the precision of a high‑tech amusement ride, powered by advanced engineering. This company develops heavy‑duty motion platforms that combine precision mechanics, hydraulics and smart system design to create highly realistic motion experiences.

You will work on both new system designs and improvements to existing control cabinets, collaborating closely with system engineers, mechanical engineers, and the production team.

We are expanding our systems engineering team and are looking for an electrical design engineer with a strong interest in high‑tech machinery. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical, control, system, and safety design of motion and simulation platforms.

What you will do

• Design electrical and control systems used in motion platforms
• Specify, design and select electrical, safety and control components (servo drives, sensors, cabling, PLC components, etc.)
• Design control cabinets, including panel layouts, routing and bills of materials
• Create electrical schematics and documentation (E‑Plan or similar tools)
• Test systems, analyse results and document findings
• Provide technical support to the sales and customer support teams

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar
• Experience with E‑Plan (preferably 3 years)
• Knowledge of relevant engineering and safety standards (EN / CE)
• Affinity with machine control systems, industrial communication protocols, sensor and servo technology, and control cabinet design
• A structured way of working, analytical mindset and strong problem‑solving skills
