Job summary

Clear. is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer for a project in Helsinki. The candidate will perform testing, inspections, and troubleshooting on electrical systems, reporting to the commissioning manager.

The role requires relevant certificates and a minimum of 3+ years' experience in a construction environment, ideally with LV/MV or HV systems. Additional perks include a competitive salary and a low tax rate with living allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience with commissioning of commercial, industrial, pharma, or data-centre projects.
• Experience working on LV/MV or HV systems.

A large reputable company contractor is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer on a project in Helsinki, working alongside one of the largest global hyperscalers.

The Role

The Electrical Commissioning Engineer would be carrying out the testing, inspections and any troubleshooting on site. You will be executing the work and reporting to the commissioning manager on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities (L1‑L5) on electrical systems
• Assist in Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
• Supervision of commissioning related tasks for all electrical vendors
• Form and update weekly Cx vendor progress reports for onward submission to management
• Witnessing of all vendor Cx activities against approved project documentation

The Ideal Candidate

• Relevant certificates in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or an Electrical Trade with relevant training and experience (e.g., NVQ)
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within a construction environment with experience in commercial, industrial, pharma, or data‑centre type projects is desirable
• Experience of working on LV/MV or HV systems with commissioning experience
• Electrical Testing & Verification with minimum 3 years’ experience
