Job summary

A high-tech solutions company in Eindhoven is looking for an Edge-to-Cloud Software Engineer. You will analyze complex problems, implement solutions, and work on diverse projects from embedded control to cloud services. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's or master's degree in relevant fields, at least 3 years of experience, and is proficient in C++ and Python. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from €50,000 to €68,000.

Edge-to-Cloud Software Engineer

• Systematically analysing complex problems;

• Sometimes you’ll focus on a specific part of the system (like embedded control or a front-end application), and other times you’ll be involved from low-level hardware to cloud services and UI. In both cases, you’ll have the freedom to come up with clever solutions and make technology truly work.

What do you bring?

• A bachelor's or master's degree in software, embedded systems, or electrical engineering;
• At least 3 years of experience as a software engineer;
• Experience with C++ and/or Python; experience with RUST, C, and C# is a plus;
• Technical experience with: Docker, gRPC/protobuf, REST, WebSockets, OAuth2, MQTT;
• Framework experience: React, Django, CUDA, PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, GoogleTest, Grafana, Embassy, Tokio;
• Knowledge of/or affinity with hardware control at embedded or PC level (I2C, SPI, GPIO, etc.);
• Knowledge on cloud (AWS) or front-end (React);
• Curious and independent mindset: you pick things up quickly and enjoy exploring unfamiliar technology;
• Experience in medical projects or safety-critical systems is a plus.
