Job summary

Vonk zoekt een Economics Teacher (0,4 FTE) voor de Amsterdamse vestiging. Je geeft les aan vmbo/mbo leerlingen en vertaalt vakkennis naar een levendige, leerzame leservaring.

Je stimuleert de persoonlijke ontwikkeling en deelt vorderingen met ouders waar relevant. Naast lesgeven werk je aan curriculumontwikkeling, maak je gebruik van ICT en social media in de klas en draag je bij aan een veilige leeromgeving.

Qualifications

• Een docent Economie met een tweede-graads onderwijsbevoegdheid, of studerend hiervoor.
• Sterke pedagogische en didactische vaardigheden.
• Creatief in het ontwikkelen van het curriculum en didactische materialen.

Responsibilities

• Liefst leerlingen geïnspireerd en gemotiveerd lesgeven aan 12–16 jarige leerlingen.
• Verzorgen van levendige en relevante lesmaterialen en werkvormen.
• Mentorschap gericht op persoonlijke ontwikkeling van leerlingen en contact met ouders waar nodig.

What will you do?

As a teacher, you will passionately transfer your professional knowledge to secondary school students aged 12 to 16. You make the teaching material lively and relevant, and know how to captivate pupils with creative work forms. You are not only a teacher, but also a mentor who actively focuses on the personal development of your pupils. Whether it involves guidance, parent contact or creating a safe learning environment: you ensure that every pupil gets the most out of themselves!

Your salary will be scaled according to scale LB of the CAO mbo, with a gross monthly salary between €3,713 and €5,495 for full-time employment, depending on your experience.
