Job summary

FairPlay Engineering BV in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to design, modify and implement electrical and instrumentation solutions across the full project lifecycle within a highly regulated industrial environment.

You will collaborate with engineers, technicians and safety specialists to deliver safe, reliable and future‑proof systems, support commissioning and start‑up, and contribute to installation reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or a comparable discipline.
• Experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer within an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, including functional safety, EMC, and low-voltage installations.
• Experience with process instrumentation, control systems, and low-voltage power distribution.
• Familiarity with the design and implementation of electrical and control system modifications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proactive and hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.

In addition, you will contribute to installation reliability, identify improvement opportunities, and support the safe operation of electrical systems.

• Radiation Protection training or willingness to complete the required training.
• Interest in or willingness to further develop knowledge of specialised process technologies.
• Experience working in highly regulated or safety-critical environments
