Job summary

LYNX seeks a MediorTransaction Monitoring Analyst for its Amsterdam headquarters. You will assess daily financial alerts, profile customers, and explain why alerts trigger, while checking plausibility of transactions against expected client behavior.

You’ll gather public-source information to refine risk profiles and maintain detailed logs, communicating with customers about notable activity and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Law, or Criminology.
• 1.5–2 years of experience in Transaction Monitoring.
• Solid understanding of AML regulations and financial crime risks.
• Knowledge of investment products and financial markets.
• Experience with customer communication and documentation requests.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the daily inflow of financial alerts.
• Describe the customer profile, analyze financial data, and explain why an alert was triggered.
• Perform plausibility checks on transactions and ensure alignment with customer behavior.
• Log findings in detail and maintain accurate records.
• Research information from public sources to verify data and determine risk profile.
• Communicate with customers regarding remarkable transactions; handle client information.
• Ensure processes comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with TM professionals across LYNX branches.
