Mercor is seeking a Music & Lyrics Expert (Dutch) for a remote contract role. You will evaluate AI-generated music, compare lyrics with published songs, and rate quality, creativity, and originality while ensuring adherence to prompts and regional language nuances.

The ideal candidate is native or near-native in Dutch, with experience as a songwriter or music journalist, and has access to headphones or studio monitors for critical listening. Immediate start with 20+ hours/week commitment.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Dutch with ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• Experience as a songwriter/lyricist/composer or music journalist with knowledge of the Dutch music scene.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated music across various genres and rate it against detailed quality standards.
• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities.
• Rate lyrics on quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality.
• Assess whether lyrics sound natural, focusing on word choice, slang, and regional expressions.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
