Job summary

TransPerfect Language & Cultural Training is seeking a Dutch language trainer in Amsterdam to join our team of language professionals. You will deliver language classes to our clients from a variety of sectors and cultural backgrounds.

The ideal candidate is a native Dutch speaker with a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience. This freelance role offers flexible schedules and the chance to work with a global language service leader.

Qualifications

• Native or native proficiency in Dutch.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and deliver effective training
• Be prepared to develop complementary course materials to meet learners’ needs
• Assess language levels
• Create language content
• Engage learners in the learning process and keep motivation levels high
• Monitor progress and evaluate learners’ performance throughout the course
• Apply TransPerfect’s teaching methodology and be prepared to adjust lessons to different culturally-based learning styles
• Take part in TransPerfect’s Language Trainer development plans and additional training
