Crossing Hurdles is seeking a detail-focused Dutch language specialist to review and correct machine-learned transcriptions for accuracy and natural flow. You will record high-quality Dutch audio samples in a quiet environment to train speech systems, and collaborate with the customer’s team to deliver timely data.

The role requires impeccable pronunciation and grammar, experience in transcription or captioning, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Be fluent in Dutch with impeccable pronunciation and grammar.
• Have demonstrated experience in transcription, captioning, or voice acting.
• Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be able to self-manage tasks and maintain motivation in a remote work setting.

Responsibilities

• Review and correct Dutch transcriptions generated by machine learning models to ensure accuracy and natural language flow.
• Record high-quality audio of yourself reading corrected transcriptions to train speech recognition systems.
• Maintain a quiet, controlled recording environment for producing clear recordings.
• Collaborate closely with the customer's team to deliver timely and high-quality language data.
• Provide precise captioning that captures both content and tone of spoken Dutch, enhancing media accessibility and usability.
• Utilize strong attention to detail to identify and resolve errors or inconsistencies in language data.
