Job summary

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is looking for drivers to participate in a two-week field data collection project in Amsterdam. You will drive in busy urban areas, use a tablet or laptop to record observations, and ensure high-quality data for the mapping application tests.

Newcomers receive 1 day of training; the project runs Monday to Friday, about 6–7 hours per day. All data will be transferred to the client for further improvements, with company-covered project-related expenses including

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Proficient driving in urban areas with high traffic.
• Good level of English.
• Collaborative and tech-savvy.

Responsibilities

• Drive a vehicle in urban areas with high traffic to collect data for the mapping project.
• Record observations and notes in a spreadsheet while using a tablet or laptop.
• Submit collected data to the client and assist with data transfer for analysis.
• Attend a short onboarding/training session prior to starting the assignment.

We count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges.

Project objective:

The main idea of the project is to test new features in the online mapping application in day and night mode. Drivers will drive a vehicle in urban areas with high traffic. The driver will work in collaboration with the co-pilot. Driver needs to note all the details (if the app is working correctly, if it’s convenient to use) into a spreadsheet. He\she will use a tablet or laptop for taking those notes and completing a survey. That data will be transferred to the client and will be used for further improvements.

Newcomers are provided with 1-day training. Company covers all the project-related expenses, including vehicle rent, fuel, parking, and paid roads.

The project will last for 2 weeks; schedule: Mon-Fri, 6-7 hrs/day.

The team will be provided with a new target daily, approximately 5 routes per day.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of driving experience;
• Good driving skills in urban areas with high traffic;
• Good level of English;
• Collaborative and tech-savvy
