Job summary

Nitsba Properties is seeking a responsible Driver to join their Amsterdam team. You will drive company vehicles safely, support daily operations, and ensure timely transport of people and goods within Amsterdam and surrounding areas.

The role requires a valid Class B licence and reliable, punctual performance with basic English. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a fixed-term contract and location in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Valid Dutch or EU Class B driving licence.
• Proven driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of Amsterdam and surrounding areas.
• Able to load/unload and assist as needed.
• Basic English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely and in accordance with Dutch regulations.
• Transport employees, materials and equipment as required.
• Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of people and goods.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and report maintenance issues.
• Keep vehicle clean and well-maintained.
• Plan routes efficiently and adapt to changes.
• Assist with loading/unloading when required.
• Maintain records of journeys, mileage and vehicle use.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Support wider team with other practical tasks.

The Role

As a Driver, you will be responsible for driving company vehicles safely and professionally while supporting various operational activities across Amsterdam and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with Dutch traffic regulations.
• Transport employees, materials, equipment and other items as required.
• Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of people and goods.
• Carry out basic checks of the vehicle and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean, organised and in good condition.
• Plan routes efficiently and adapt to traffic or changing schedules when needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading items where required.
• Maintain accurate records related to journeys, mileage and vehicle use.
• Follow all company health, safety and operational procedures.
• Support the wider team with other practical tasks when required.

What We’re Looking For

• A valid Dutch or EU-recognised Class B driving licence.
• Proven experience as a driver is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Amsterdam and the surrounding areas.
• Safe, responsible and confident driving style.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Physically able to assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules when necessary.
• Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.
• Basic English communication skills; Dutch is a plus.
