Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Manager and oversee Pharmacy Technician Staff, ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality care. You will manage operations within the pharmacy, lead with empathy, grow patient care programs, and help drive profitability while delivering compassionate service to our patients and communities.

Minimum qualifications include an active state pharmacy license, immunization certification, and a clean record;

  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization.
  • Free of pending felony charges related to controlled substances.

Responsibilities

  • Lead patient safety, regulatory compliance and quality assurance in daily operations.
  • Support Pharmacy Manager and oversee Pharmacy Support Staff.
  • Manage inventory, workflow, and financial profitability within the pharmacy.
  • Deliver compassionate patient care and participate in patient care programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service and grow the pharmacy's impact.

A key component of the Staff Pharmacist role is keeping your customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs. Additionally, you will:

  • Motivate, inspire and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments that maximize colleagues’ strengths, address development opportunities and decrease knowledge gaps

  • Successfully implement those solutions by leading your team to achieve specified goals
  • Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting

Required Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
  • Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
Education

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60.00 - $76.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
