Aceve is seeking a Director of Product to lead the Benelux portfolio, setting regional strategy and coordinating teams across locations. You will work with the CPO and Group Product Leadership, gaining autonomy for regional execution and shaping product directions as the portfolio grows in AI-native offerings.

Based in Rotterdam, Amsterdam or Zierikzee with regular travel, you will drive alignment, invest priorities, and ensure successful launches that deliver customer value and retention.

• Experience managing distributed teams across offices or countries, including post-acquisition integrations.

About the role:

We are looking for a Director of Product to lead Aceve's Benelux product portfolio. You will set the regional product strategy, bring teams across locations and markets together, and give the portfolio a clear, coherent direction.

You will work closely with the Chief Product Officer and Aceve's Group Product Leadership team, and play an important part in the Benelux leadership team. You get real autonomy for regional execution, and the chance to influence product and portfolio strategy across the wider Aceve.

You are joining at an important moment. Alongside our established portfolio, we are building a new generation of AI-native products, with the Nordics and Benelux among our first focus markets. We want to reshape how construction and installation businesses operate: better outcomes for customers, faster innovation, and a much shorter road from idea to customer value. Parts of the portfolio are still taking shape, and that is part of the job.
You can be based in Rotterdam, Zierikzee, or Amsterdam with regular travel to Rotterdam and Zierikzee (typically two days per week)

What you'll own:

• Set product and portfolio strategy for the Netherlands and Belgium, and contribute actively to Aceve's broader Group product and portfolio strategy.

• Make the roadmap, investment and prioritisation calls across a distributed portfolio of products and teams. You balance customer needs, commercial opportunities, product health and longer-term priorities.

• Lead a distributed product organisation. Create alignment and shared ways of working across teams in different locations, languages and organisational structures.

• Work hand in hand with Commercial, Professional Services, Customer Success, Support and Technology, so strategy turns into successful launches, adoption, customer outcomes and retention.

• Keep developing and simplifying the portfolio. Decide where we invest, consolidate, integrate or evolve products as the Benelux portfolio grows.

• Bring clarity to a complex setup. Aceve has grown partly through acquisition, and some products and teams sit in different legal and organisational structures. It can be messy. You help turn it into one coherent product organisation and portfolio.

What success looks like:

Over your first 12–18 months, we expect you to:

• Set a clear, credible Benelux product strategy that Product, Technology, Commercial and local market leadership all understand, with explicit choices on where we invest, where we simplify and where we differentiate.

• Build a more coherent portfolio and roadmap, with clearer priorities across products and teams, and better alignment between customer needs, commercial goals and product investment.

• Build a high-performing, connected product organisation, with stronger collaboration across locations and clearer ownership, decision-making and ways of working.

• Turn strategy into measurable customer and business results: better adoption, retention, customer value and delivery.

• Help shape our next generation of AI-native products in Benelux, grounded in real customer problems and ready to scale across the portfolio.

We believe you have:

• 10+ years of experience in B2B software product management, including significant experience in senior product leadership.

• Proven experience leading a multi-product portfolio, and making investment and prioritisation calls when products share goals and resources and demands compete.

• Experience leading distributed teams across offices, countries or cultures. Experience integrating or leading teams that joined through acquisition is particularly relevant.

• Strong strategic judgement and comfort with ambiguity. Parts of the portfolio are still evolving. You create clarity, make thoughtful trade-offs and shape the portfolio rather than wait for decisions to be made elsewhere.

• A collaborative leadership style. You work well across Product, Technology, Commercial and local market leadership, and still keep a strong point of view on product strategy.

• Based in Rotterdam, or Amsterdam with regular travel to Rotterdam, typically a couple of days per week. Travel to other locations is required, about once a month on average.

• Fluent English. Dutch and/or French is a strong advantage given our markets and customers.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in vertical or industry-specific SaaS, particularly construction, field service management or other operationally complex industries.

• Experience integrating product lines, teams or brands after an acquisition.

• Familiarity with ERP, Field Service Management or adjacent business software.
